This is a course set up to make students study different kinds of ships. They live in Taranto, a town in the south of Italy which is well known for its harbour, for the navy and a wonderful sea, "The Jonion Sea".

This database was created to collect all data about ecological activities related ot sea and shore pollution, sea waste origin,sea pollution problems, to compare and learn, to show importance of a crystal clear sea, to create the project final outcome - sea waste and pollution brochure. 

It is devided into topics so new topics could be added with photos and descriptions for each partner school.

This course is aimed at improving interest in creative writing. Motivated students who love the sea and its inhabitants are called to write original novels.

The course aims to learn about the health benefits that the use of the Mediterranean diet can offer to fight environmental pollution damages, using the products of a polluted nature. The student will understand the importance of a diet that mainly uses the products of the earth and of the sea, even if the land and the sea are polluted. students will know the products and typical dishes their homeland; they will know the nutritional values of different foods their mothers usually combine together in delicious recipes. The final work that the group of students will have to develop, consists of a collection of recipes uploaded in a database, a report about the topic, in any format (video, slideshow, pdf files, word files, etc ..). Students'  acquired knowledge will be checked by a final test. They will also answer to a satisfaction survey of the course.
